MoneyTing Privacy Policy
In short
- Personal payment notifications are matched on your phone for voice alerts and local history.
- We never ask for your UPI PIN, bank login, or card details.
- Our servers keep your phone number, account status, optional profile details, your policy consent record, and counts of sponsored-banner views and clicks.
- If you opt into Share Notifications, we also store share relationship metadata and limited shared-alert fields (amount, currency, source app, and timestamp) — not UTR, VPA, payer name, or raw notification text.
- Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us what we hold, correct it, erase it, or withdraw your consent.

1. Who we are

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to account authentication, optional profile information, legal consent records, and application-control data stored by the backend.
It also covers contact through our website and support channels.
3. What MoneyTing is
MoneyTing helps shopkeepers and individuals hear when a UPI payment notification arrives on their phone.
Compatible payment notifications can be announced aloud using on-device text-to-speech, and a local payment history can be kept on the device.
MoneyTing is not a bank, wallet, UPI app, payment processor, or money-transfer service. Money never moves through MoneyTing.
4. Notification access and on-device processing
MoneyTing may request permission to access device notifications so the app can detect payment-related notifications on the device.
Payment-notification detection and related voice announcements are designed to be processed on the device.
The backend is not intended to ingest SMS bodies, full notification payloads, UTRs, VPAs, payer details, or bank-account information for payment detection.
MoneyTing does not claim 100% detection, guaranteed payment recognition, direct bank-account access, or banking authorization.
5. Voice announcements
When enabled by the user, MoneyTing may announce detected payment-related events using on-device speech and audio features.
Announcement behavior depends on device settings, permissions, and app configuration.
6. Account authentication
Customers may create or sign in to an account using a phone number and one-time password (OTP).
The backend stores the normalized phone number, verification timestamps, account status, and mobile session metadata needed to secure API access.
OTP values are not stored in plaintext; OTP delivery may use configurable providers.
7. Optional customer profile information
Customers may optionally provide profile details such as name, business name, city, state, and pincode.
Phone number changes are not offered through the current profile API.
Profile fields are stored to support the customer account experience and administration.
8. App usage and account status
The backend may store account lifecycle status values such as active, suspended, or deactivated.
Suspended or deactivated accounts may be restricted from authenticated API use.
Administrators may review sanitized session metadata (for example platform and last-used time) without access to plaintext access tokens.
9. Legal documents and consent
Published legal documents (such as this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service) may be retrieved by the application and shown on the website.
When a customer accepts a currently effective published version, the backend stores a consent record linked to that document version and a server-side consent timestamp.
Older consent records are retained for history and are not overwritten when a newer version is accepted.
10. Consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
Before you create an account, MoneyTing asks you to accept this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service in the app.
That acceptance is your consent under Section 6 of the DPDP Act, and it is free, specific, informed, unconditional, and given by a clear affirmative action.
We ask for consent only for the personal data we need for the purposes listed in this notice, and only for those purposes.
The personal data we process on consent is: your mobile number (for account creation and OTP sign-in), and the optional profile details you enter (name, business name, city, state, and pincode) used to set up and support your account.
Payment notifications read on your device for voice announcements are matched on the device and are not sent to our servers as part of that processing.
You may contact us in English or in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India at info@navotrix.com.
11. Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
Obtain a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities we carry out.
Ask us to correct inaccurate or misleading personal data, and to complete or update incomplete personal data.
Ask us to erase your personal data where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, unless retention is required by law.
Have a readily available means of grievance redressal, described in Section 13 below.
Nominate another individual to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act if you die or become unable to act.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@navotrix.com from your registered mobile number's account or call 7016578206. We may verify your identity, for example by an OTP to your registered number, before we act on a request.
12. Withdrawing consent and closing your account
You can withdraw your consent at any time, and it must be as easy to withdraw as it was to give.
To withdraw consent, email info@navotrix.com or ask us in the app's Support section to close your account.
When you withdraw consent we stop processing your personal data for the purposes covered by that consent, and we erase the account data unless the DPDP Act or another law requires us to keep it.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully took place before you withdrew.
Uninstalling the app or signing out does not by itself withdraw your consent, because your account remains on our servers until you ask us to close it.
13. Grievance redressal
If you have a question or complaint about how your personal data is handled, contact our grievance contact for MoneyTing:
Grievance Officer, Navotrix Softwares Solutions LLP
Email: info@navotrix.com
Phone: 7016578206
We aim to acknowledge grievances promptly and to resolve them within the period allowed under the DPDP Act and its rules.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
14. Children and persons with a lawful guardian
MoneyTing is intended for people aged 18 and above and is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly process the personal data of a child or of a person with a disability who has a lawful guardian without verifiable consent from the parent or lawful guardian, and we do not carry out tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children.
If you believe a child's personal data has been provided to us, contact info@navotrix.com and we will delete it.
15. Security and personal data breaches
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect the personal data we hold, including encrypted storage of session tokens on the device, hashed one-time passwords, transport encryption, and access controls on administrative tools.
If a personal data breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act.
16. Data retention and erasure
Account, consent, session, and administrative audit records are retained as needed to operate the service, meet security needs, and support lawful requests.
Where you withdraw consent or ask us to close your account, we erase your personal data unless retention is required by law, and we require our processors to do the same.
Audit logs are sanitized and are not intended to store OTP codes, access tokens, or full legal-document bodies.
17. Third-party services
MoneyTing may rely on infrastructure and service providers (for example hosting, databases, or OTP delivery providers) to operate the backend.
Those providers act as Data Processors for Navotrix Softwares Solutions LLP under contract and process personal data only as needed to provide their services to us.
18. Changes to this policy
We may publish updated versions of this Privacy Policy.
The application and website retrieve or display the currently effective published version.
Continued use after a new version becomes effective may require renewed consent where the product requests it.
19. Limitations
This policy does not guarantee uninterrupted service, complete detection of every payment notification, or that no information will ever leave the device under all circumstances.
Network requests for authentication, profile updates, legal documents, consents, and related account services necessarily communicate with the backend.
